Located in Valparaiso, Indiana, our second heat treatment and finishing plant opened its doors on November 1, 1971. Our heat treatment process guarantees uniform microstructure from the surface layer through the working depth of the roll. This process also controls residual stress levels within the entire cross-section, and ensures uniform hardness distribution across the roll body.
